Our Story

Built Different. On Purpose.

The Accounting Industry Has a People Problem.

Most people who've worked with an accountant have the same story. You drop off your documents, wait a few weeks, get a number you didn't expect, and pay a bill that feels disconnected from any real value. Nobody explains anything. Nobody calls to check in. You leave feeling like a transaction.

That bothered me. Not as a business strategy — just as a human being who knows what it feels like to trust someone with something important and get indifference in return.
So when I started Sailer Business Solutions, I made one decision before anything else: the experience of working with us is going to be different. Clients are going to feel taken care of.

They're going to understand what's happening with their money. They're going to hear from us before they have to ask. And they're going to wonder why they waited so long to work with an accounting firm that actually cares.

THE BACKGROUND

Small Town Roots. Built a Career. Came Back to Build Something Real.

I grew up in Coleman, Wisconsin — a small town about 40 minutes north of Green Bay. The kind of place where people work hard, don't complain much, and have a pretty good radar for anyone who's full of it.

I left for college in St. Louis and spent time in Florida while building my career in finance and business, earned my MBA and my Enrolled Agent credential along the way. I worked with businesses, advised owners, and got good at understanding what was actually happening underneath the surface of a P&L.

At some point it became obvious that the business owners I respected most — the ones running crews, managing jobs, building something tangible — were getting the worst financial support. Not because good advice wasn't available. Because most firms weren't set up to give it to them in a way that fit how they actually operated. So I came back.

Not just to Green Bay but to this region — because this is where I'm from, this is the kind of business owner I understand best, and this is where I want to build something that lasts. Sailer Business Solutions started as a national practice helping trades and service businesses across the country. Now it's becoming what I always intended it to be — a real firm, rooted in Northeast Wisconsin, with the ambition to become the most trusted financial partner in this region.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Way We See It.

Our Mission

Business owners work too hard to feel confused about their own finances. Our mission is simple — give trades and service business owners doing $500K to $5M complete financial clarity, reduce their tax burden, and be the kind of firm they actually look forward to hearing from. We serve the business and the owner. Because the goal was never just a profitable P&L — it was a business that gives you your life back.

Our Values

We believe in being direct, staying organized, and actually explaining things. We believe the best client relationships last decades, not one tax season. We believe that charging a fair price and delivering exceptional service is not a radical idea — it's just what this industry has been missing. And we believe that when a business owner wins, the whole community around them wins too.

WHERE WE'RE GOING

Building the Premier Financial Firm in Northeast Wisconsin.

This isn’t a one-person consulting practice with a few Google reviews. The goal — the actual long-term goal — is to build the most trusted financial advisory and accounting firm in the Green Bay and Fox Valley area. A firm where the best financial talent in the region wants to work. Where clients refer their kids and their business partners. Where we’re involved in the community in real ways, not just as sponsors on a banner.

We want to be the firm that changes how people in this region feel about working with an accountant. The one people brag about having. The one that treats a $500K fence company with the same care and attention as a $10M manufacturer.

We’re building something here. And if that sounds like the kind of firm you want in your corner — for the next deal, the next hire, the next decade — we’d love to talk.
